The purpose of social work is to prevent and resolve social problems. With a respectful serving attitude, social workers provide psychological counseling and emotional support to individuals, families, groups and communities. They use different approaches for treatments, such as case work, group work, and community work.

Medical social workers help the patients and their family to resolve social, economic, family, occupational, and mental problems caused by illnesses, so to increase the benefits and reduce obstacles during the medical treatment. In addition, facilitate patients to achieve a balance condition, both physically and mentally. This will help the patients to readapt to social life.
